What’s Six Gldn clean beauty?

The toxins you need to avoid can hide under many different names, so it pays to become familiar with them. These are some of the most common:
Phthalates - Look for DEP, DEHP, DMP, DBP, BzBP
Parabens
Artificial fragrance - Look for parfum, fragrance: these words can be an umbrella term for up to 3,000 different ingredients.
Formaldehyde - Also look for DMDM hydantoin, diazolidinyl urea and quaternium-15
Hydroquinone
Oil-industry by-products - Look for mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin
Triclosan
Ethanolamines - Look for triethanolamine, diethanolamine, and DEA, TEA, MEA, TEA, for example cocamide DEA, cocamide MEA, DEA-cetyl phosphate, and DEA oleth-3 phosphate
PEGs - Look for all PEGs, which often come with a number, for example PEG-2, PEG-6, PEG-8, PEG-9
Ethoxylated agents - Look for polyethylene glycols (PEGs), ceteareths, oleth, and sulfates (SLS)
