The W Nail Bar Opens Three New Locations In Two Weeks Across Midwest

The sister-owned, growing national beauty brand’s newest spots to open throughout September and offer a safe, all-natural nail experience 

Columbus, OH (Sep. 15, 2021) — The W Nail Bar will open three new locations in just two weeks offering an all-natural, sanitary self-care experience to customers in Iowa and Wisconsin. 

The three new locations are part of the partnership with Hy-Vee, Inc. announced in March 2021, which includes opening in-store nail salons across the company’s eight-state region. The first nail salon as part of this partnership opened in April 2021 inside the Bettendorf Hy-Vee in Bettendorf, Iowa.

The W Nail Bar at the Northeast Gateway Drive Hy-Vee in Grimes, Iowa, opened on Tuesday, Sept. 14. This location is the first for the company in the greater Des Moines area. The W Nail Bar at the West Kimberly Road Hy-Vee in Davenport, Iowa, will open on Friday, Sept. 17. The nail salon will be adjacent to the store and is the second location in the Quad Cities. The W Nail Bar at the East Clairemont Avenue Hy-Vee in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, will open on Tuesday, Sept. 28, and will be the first location in Wisconsin.

The W Nail Bar is family and female-owned, founded by two sisters from Ohio — Lauren Hunter and Manda Mason. Both grew up working in their family’s grocery store before pursuing their own careers and later combined forces in 2015 to open their first The W Nail Bar location in Columbus, Ohio.

“This is an exciting time for our company as we work to expand our national reach,” said co-founder Lauren Hunter. “As a result of our partnership with Hy-Vee, we have seen significant demand for The W Nail Bar to open new locations, especially in the Midwest. We look forward to servicing clients in these new markets, as well as provide valuable jobs to those wanting to work in a fun, clean and community-focused environment.” 

The W Nail Bar is an all-natural nail bar that offers a variety of services including manicures, pedicures, nail art and more. The W Nail Bar is committed to culture, cleanliness, community and customer service. Full-service manicures are available starting at $20 and full-service pedicures are available starting at $25. Monthly memberships are also available.

The W Nail Bar is setting a new standard of cleanliness inside their nail salons. In addition to using hospital-grade disinfectants, the company exclusively uses copper tubs for pedicures, providing natural, anti-microbial properties that give customers peace of mind that their nail services are performed hygienically.
