Most clients come in every 4–6 weeks to maintain healthy, balanced skin. Consistency makes the biggest difference over time.

What is dermaplaning—and is it worth it?

Dermaplaning removes dead skin and fine facial hair, leaving your skin smoother and brighter. It also helps makeup apply better and products absorb more effectively.

Will a facial break me out?

Some clients may experience minor purging if your skin is congested, but most leave with clearer, more balanced skin. We tailor each service to minimize irritation.

Is there downtime after a facial?

No real downtime—your skin may look slightly flushed right after, but that typically fades quickly, leaving a healthy glow.

What should I book before a special event?

A hydrating or glow facial is a great option a few days before an event to give your skin a smooth, radiant finish.

Do I need to have a skincare routine to benefit from facials?

Not at all. Facials are a great starting point—and we’ll keep recommendations simple if you want to maintain results at home

Service Policies

Natural Nail Bar

We’re all about keeping your nails healthy and natural! That’s why we don’t work on or remove acrylic, hard gel, gel builder, press-ons, or anything requiring a drill.

  • Dip Removal: Book The Comeback Mani.
  • Color Street Polish Strips: Book as gel polish removal.

Arriving with acrylic, builder gel, or hard gel? Unfortunately, we won’t be able to serve you, and a full-service fee will apply. Drills can damage your nails, but we’d love to help you transition to natural nails—just ask us how!

Payments

  • Accepted Methods: Physical cards or Apple Pay (no cash).
  • Tips: Preferred via cash, Venmo, or Cash App; also accepted on cards.

Cancellation + Rescheduling

Cancel or reschedule in advance to avoid fees:

  • Guests who cancel within 12 hours of an appointment will be charged 50% of the full-service price booked.
  • Guests who reschedule within 12-4 hours of an appointment will not be charged.
  • Guests who reschedule within 4 hours of an appointment will be charged 50% of the full-service price booked.

Late Arrivals

  • 10–15 minutes late: Appointment may be shortened; full-service fee applies.
  • More than 15 minutes late/no-show: 100% charge of the booked service. Your appointment will be canceled as a no-show.
  • Guests who call to cancel after the appointment start time will be marked as a no show and charged 100% of the full service price.

The The W Nail Bar Guarantee

  • If your gel chips, lifts, or misbehaves within 7 days of your service, we’ll fix it for free. Please call to book, or if more than three nails need fixed, email photos to support@thewnailbar.com.
  • Regular Polish/Child Services: Not covered by this policy.

Allergies

Products used in our services may contain or come into contact with nut products.

Inclement Weather

  • Level 3 Emergency (or above): Shops close, and no charges apply.
  • Level 2 Emergency: Hours may adjust, and guests won’t be charged for cancellations.

We’ll notify impacted guests at least 2 hours before any schedule changes.

Cleanliness

Please note, we uphold the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation practices required by the Ohio and Indiana state Boards of Cosmetology. We reserve the right to refuse service if the nail technician believes there is a risk of fungal, viral, or bacterial infection. Please note that you will be charged 100% of the full-service price booked for a turnaway due to a suspected fungal or bacterial infection.

Child Services

  • Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Gel polish is not recommended for children.
  • Fix policy does not apply to child services.
  • We do not offer gel extensions to children under the age of 16.
