We heard they put a ring on it! Let the wedding planning begin! Don't forget to add nail prep to your to-do checklist. This is their time in the spotlight, and there’s nothing better than a fresh set to debut during a ring pic.

We’re experts when it comes to helping brides prepare for their bridal season, so we took time to answer commonly asked questions we receive.

Q: How do I get my nails strong and healthy for my wedding?
A: Regular maintenance is key to building and maintaining nail health. This includes scheduling proper gel polish removal. Improper removal can seriously damage your nails, setting you back in your nail health journey. We also recommend taking a vitamin supplement, like biotin, and applying cuticle oil to nourish your nails.

Something else we recommend to clients prioritizing nail health is the Luminary Nail System. This multi-flex gel is a soak-able soft gel with the strength of acrylic and flexibility of hard gel that creates manicures that last. This product is ideal for grouping our natural nails and can be added to any of our manicure services.

Q: How often should I get my nails done during my bridal season?
A: We recommend guests get manicure services every 2-3 weeks and pedicure services every 3-4 weeks. This timeline is optimal to keep your nails looking fresh.

Q: What should I do if one nail breaks?
A: Have no fear! A chipped nail or two will not ruin your wedding-day look. Our nail technicians can apply a gel-x extension to the chipped nails to ensure they look cohesive with the rest of your mani. When booking, this is called our ‘gel-x add on’ under the Add Ons section.

Q: When should I get my nails done for my wedding?
A: We recommend brides get their nails done two to three days before the wedding to make sure their nails stay fresh, but they are not pressed for time with other wedding commitments.

Q: How do I book an appointment for my bridal party?
A: For groups of three or more, we ask them to email events@thewnailbar.com. From there, our Events Coordinator will help plan their special occasion. For groups of two, you can select ‘Group Appointment’ when booking, which will allow you to book two services simultaneously.

Q: When should I book my bridal party nail appointment?
A: We recommend booking your bridal party appointment 6-12 months in advance to ensure our shop is staffed properly to accommodate the group.
